Macaroni and Tuna Casserole

1 cup uncooked elbow macaroni
1 cup hot thin white sauce
1 cup shredded sharp Cheddar cheese
1 small (6 1/2 oz.) can Tuna
1 cup chopped onion
1/4 cup seeded chopped green pepper
1/4 tsp. garlic powder
1 cup butter
1 cup fried croutons

Boil macaroni in plenty of salted water over high heat, until it is just tender. Pour into colander and rinse under cold running water. Drain well and pour into casserole greased with a little butter.

While macaroni is cooking, make sauce. Stir in Cheddar cheese, remove from heat and leave cheese to melt. Preheat oven to 375 F. Drain Tuna and shred with fork. Stir in onion and green pepper. Put Tuna mixture into casserole with cheese sauce and mix well. Bake for 30 minutes.
