Tuna Noodle Casserole

1 (8 oz.) package egg noodles
2 boxes frozen mixed vegetables
4 Tbsp. butter, melted
4 Tbsp. flour
1/2 tsp. salt
1/8 tsp. pepper
2 cups milk
1 (6 oz.) can Tuna, drained
1 cup buttered bread crumbs


Boil egg noodles in salted water for 10 minutes. Boil vegetables for 2 minutes and drain them. Blend butter, flour, salt, and pepper in a pan; slowly stir in the milk. Bring to a boil. Add Tuna and boil 2 minutes. Combine cooked noodles and Tuna sauce. Add vegetables and pour into greased casserole. Top with buttered bread crumbs. Cover and bake at 350 F for 20 minutes. Remove the cover and continue baking for 10 minutes more.


8-10 servings
