Green Bean tuna Casserole

1 lb. green beans, fresh or frozen, cut
1/4 cup chopped onion
1/4 cup chopped green pepper
1 Tbsp. margarine
1 (6 oz.) can Tuna in water, undrained
1 (10 oz.) can mushroom soup
1/2 tsp. salt
1/4 tsp. pepper
12 Saltine crackers, crumbled
3 Tbsp. margarine


Cook beans until just tender; drain. Saute onion and pepper in 1 tablespoon margarine until tender. Add, with Tuna and soup to cooked beans. Season with salt and pepper. Turn into greased 1 1/2 quart casserole. Melt 3 tablespoons margarine and toss with cracker crumbs; sprinkle over casserole. Bake uncovered at 375 F for 30 minutes or until bubbly.
