Classic Tuna Casserole

1 envelope chicken noodle soup mix
2 1/2 cups boiling water
3 Tbsp. margarine
3 Tbsp. flour
Dash pepper
1 can (7 oz.) Tuna, drained & flaked
2 cups canned peas, drained
1/4 cup buttered bread crumbs


Preheat oven to 350 F. In a small saucepan, combine soup mix and water; heat to boiling. In a medium saucepan, over low heat, melt butter or margarine, blend in flour and pepper. Gradually stir in hot soup and cook until thickened. Add Tuna and fold in peas. Turn into a greased 1 1/2 quart dish. Top with bread crumbs. Bake 15 minutes or until heated through.
