Tuna Scallop

1 1/2 cups carrots, cubed
1/2 cup onion, chopped fine
1 1/2 cups potatoes, cubed
4 Tbsp. butter
2 Tbsp. flour
2 cups milk
1 tsp. salt
1 can peas
1 can Tuna fish


Boil carrots and onions together 10 minutes; add potatoes and boil until vegetables are tender. Make a white sauce by blending flour with butter and milk. Add peas to other vegetables.


Break Tuna fish into small pieces and mix with white sauce. Butter a baking dish, put a layer of drained vegetables in the dish, then a layer of white sauce until all is used. Cover top with buttered crumbs and bake in moderate oven 45 minutes.
