Pasta with Tuna Caper Sauce

1 lb. ziti or linguini
2 (6 1/2 oz.) cans Tuna
2 Tbsp. capers, drained and rinsed
1-2 cloves garlic, crushed
1/4 cup fresh parsley or 2 Tbsp. dried
1 tsp. dried basil
2 medium onion, sliced
1/2 cup extra virgin olive oil
Salt and pepper to taste


Heat oil and garlic in frying pan. Add onions and cook over medium-low flame until tender, approximately 10 minutes. Meanwhile, cook pasta according to directions.


When onions are done, remove from heat and add Tuna, capers, parsley, and basil. Drain pasta and toss in a bowl with sauce.


Serves 4-6
