Tuna and Noodle Casserole

1 can Tuna fish
1 lb. noodles
1 small onion, sliced thin
1 small package potato chips
1 can mushroom soup
Pepper to taste
Pinch of thyme

Cook noodles in boiling salted water. Saute onion in oleo or butter until a light brown. Place half the noodles in a casserole, spread layer of onions, Tuna fish and mushroom soup. Top with remainder of noodles. Sprinkle with pepper and thyme. Cover with chips. Bake at 325 F about 30 minutes until thick and brown.
