Tuna and Green Chilies

1 cn Tuna
1/2 c Celery; minced well
2 tb Onion; minced well
1/4 c Canned green chilies; chopped
1/4 c Mayonnaise
1/4 ts Salt
1 ts Chili powder
12 sl Bread
2 c Cheddar cheese; grated
3 Eggs; beaten
1 c Milk
1/4 c Cream
1/4 ts Salt
1 ds Tabasco


Combine first 7 ingredients. Spread on half the bread and make sandwiches. Cut each in quarters and arrange in layers in square baking dish putting cheese between layers and on top. Combine remaining ingredients, and pour over all. Bake in slow oven, 300 for 50 minutes or until set.
