Dieter's Tuna Salad

3/4 cup wine vinegar
2 Tbsp. sugar
1 1/2 tsp. dried basil leaves, crushed
8 cups torn lettuce
2 (6 1/2 or 7 oz.) cans water packed Tuna, drained and flaked
1 1/2 cups cherry tomatoes, halved
1/2 medium onion, thinly sliced and separated into rings
1 medium cucumber, sliced
1/2 cup sliced celery

Tart wine vinegar dressing enhances salad flavor. Mix vinegar, sugar and basil leaves; add dash of pepper. Chill. Toss lettuce with remaining ingredients. Add dressing, toss lightly.

Serves 8
