Barbecued Tuna

2 Tuna (or Salmon) Steaks, 1 inch thick
4 Tbsp. butter or margarine
Salt and pepper to taste
1/4 cup lemon juice
1 Tbsp. parsley
1 tsp. basil
1 tsp. garlic powder
1/2 tsp. ginger
Oil for brushing barbecue grids


Rinse and dry Steaks and set aside. Melt butter in microwave. Add lemon juice and seasonings; mix well.


Brush hot barbecue grids with oil.


Brush fish with butter/seasoning mix, place on grill. Baste frequently. Turn once. Total cooking time about 7 to 10 minutes until fish just flakes. Do not overcook.
